Vegas, Baby!!!

We just got back from Las Vegas! Steve's work sent him there for a conference at the Mirage, and Grayson and I went with him! It was nice and warm, too -- it stayed in the 70's the whole time!

Gray and I sat by the pool a lot while Steve was in his conference sessions -- it was so nice to be able to sit outside! This was the first time Grayson was alert while we were outside (he's always slept through it when I've taken him for walks) and he was in awe of the trees, water sounds, and bird sounds. He just sat and stared around most of the time! It was so cute!

The last day we were there, we went to the dolphin and tiger habitat they have there at the Mirage. The dolphins were so fun to watch -- they were a lot bigger than I thought they'd be -- they were like underwater cows! They had a little baby dolphin, too -- so cute! Grayson wasn't too impressed, and he fell asleep pretty soon after we got there. Oh, well -- I enjoyed it!

It was fun to watch the dolphins do their jumps and tricks! So graceful!

And it was fun to see the Siegfried and Roy white tigers -- such pretty animals!! This is Gray's second time to Vegas -- once inside mommy's tummy, and now again when he's 6 weeks old!! We're starting him young, I guess! :)

I love vegas! I am always telling Nick that we should go there as a family but he does not think there would be anything for us to do there as a family. OH Boy is he wrong there is sooo much to do there I love it. I hope I break him down soon so we can go.

How fun, even though he didn't get what was going on, I bet it was fun to have him there and to get out.
