I'm loving playing with these iPhone apps lately :). Here are some of the adorable pics I've made with them.

Fun at Willard Bay

That's T, Jeanne, and Grayson on the beach, and Jordan wake boarding in the background

On Thursday we went to Willard Bay with Steve's family. We had a great time! Thatcher loved all the sand (well, the small gravel) and the seagulls. Grayson liked digging in the sand, too -- but he was also really brave and actually went in the water this time! He went out on the boat and wave runner, too. This is HUGE deal, because Gray hasn't gotten in water (except the bath tub) since he was a baby. He's always been terrified before, and hasn't gotten within a few feet of the water. I was so proud of him! And he loved it! In fact, he threw a huge tantrum when we made him get out -- which I much prefer to the tantrum he'd throw when we tried to get him IN. I'm cautiously hopeful that we'll have a summer full of boating and swimming pools that will actually be fun. :)

Cautious of the water at first, but that soon changed.

T loved chasing the seagulls!

Gray waded in to his ankles at first, and looked for cool rocks and shells

Getting a little braver....

I was SHOCKED when he went in to his waist! He's come a long way :)

T digging in the sand with the giant shovel

Gray loved the tube, especially when Uncle Jordan spun it around in circles with the Larson kids -- if you click on the pic to make it bigger, you will see he has a huge smile on his face! :)

Using a bucket as a drum

On the wave runner with Uncle Jordan

He loved it, and was asking to go again!
I loved T's floppy sun hat :)

T was very proud that he found water in the hole he dug -- "Oooo!"

Toddling away with a very sandy bum :)

Preschool Memories

Here are some pictures from Grayson's first year of preschool! He went to the Wee Lads and Lassies preschool at Ben Lomond High with Miss Jill. He LOVED it -- he was always so happy when I'd tell him it was time for school.  Some of his favorite things about preschool were the Surprise Box, Cuddles, snack time (especially when he got to drink "red juice"), learning new songs (especially the Boa Constrictor Song, the Continents Song, and "I'm a Mean Old Witch With a Hat"), and when it was his turn to be the leader.  He's so excited that he gets to go back again next year!

Gray's very first day of preschool. He was so excited!
His first official school picture
The cute bulletin board
Gray loved the alphabet rug, and always wanted to sit on the G

His favorite toys at preschool -- the big dinosaur and animals (he's signing "tiger" in this photo)
His first bus ride! He was SO excited to ride the bus!

He got to ride the bus on the way to the zoo for a field trip

He got to sit next to his friend Bridger Staley. And NO PARENTS went this time!  I was more nervous that he was, and he did great without me :)

Another field trip to Kangaroo Zoo

He didn't want to go down any of the slides, but he loved the flat areas he could just jump and run around in.

Gray helped me make these G cookies for his birthday treat, which also happened to be on the letter G day. In his favorite color, green, of course.

On Valentine's day

They got to decorate their own bags to put their Valentines in

Look at all that loot! That's one happy 4-year old!

Gray's favorite craft they did -- making squares out of marshmallows and toothpicks

He was so proud that he figured out how to make the squares into diamonds, too!

I love this picture :)

He dismantled all the squares and reassembled them for days

Being a jaguar at the Treehouse field trip

At the Dinosaur Park field trip -- with Cuddles, their "class pet" . Gray was always so excited when it was his turn to bring Cuddles home and take care of him.
The flower pot he made me for Mother's Day

The last day of preschool.  (He didn't want to stand still and take a picture)

Grayson's Preschool Program

Today was Grayson's program for preschool.  It took a lot of coaxing to get him onto the stage at first, and I had to go up and sit with him for a little bit.  But after I got him sitting next to his friend Bridger Staley, he was fine.  He did great the rest of the time! He sang the whole time, and did all the actions. It was so cute! He'd get the biggest smile every time the audience would clap after each song.

This is the whole preschool -- 4 classes worth. Gray is on the right side in the khaki pants and light blue shirt.

Doing the actions and singing along

Here's a video of his favorite song -- the "Boa Constrictor Song"

Getting his certificate. He turned, smiled, and waved at the audience! I was shocked! :)

Gray LOVES Miss Jill! She's been so great with him.  He gave her a huge hug, but would NOT stay to pose for a pic.  This is the only shot I got :p
Grayson has really loved preschool this year. It's helped him so much! He's very excited that he gets to go back to Miss Jill's class again in the fall!
